Every Child Has A Voice isn’t like other Kids Music Programs in NYC.
Evan's mission is to emotionally validate children through music, and build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with every student. Evan only offers a limited amount of group classes a week in order to guarantee the love, attention, and care each child deserves in order to deliver our mission.
Evan has spent the last decade working for every kids music program you’ve already heard of in NYC. He’s played birthday parties for past U.S. President’s Grandchildren, mannyed for A-List celebrities, and co-founded his own kids yoga program. As a Berklee College of Music graduate, he’s gone on to work with Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award Winners. He’s written a series for Audible and even hosts his own Late Night Show, Candle Room.
But, his passion for psychology is what makes his music classes unique. Evan is currently pursuing his Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter. In his music classes, children are introduced to catchy Original Songs that explore somatic practices, mindfulness techniques, and meditation all while being offered an emotionally attuned therapist in training to strengthen children's attachment to their caregivers. Evan is currently working at New Alternatives for Children offering talk, play, and music therapy to children and adults with disabilities in the foster care system. Through the joy of music, children learn how to emotionally regulate their own selves
